Some Things Are Meant to Be Shared

When I was invited to be part of an event, I was asked to write a short bio. Simple enough, but it made me pause.


This journey, this lifestyle, this way of caring for myself… it’s been personal. Layered. Built from trial, curiosity, care, and a whole lot of research.


It’s not about having it all figured out. It’s about paying attention. Trying things. Letting go of what doesn’t work. And now, maybe, sharing some of the things that do.


Because sometimes we don’t know what we don’t know. And when something clicks, whether it’s a shift in food, mindset, movement, or care, it can change everything.



Where It Started to Shift


I’ve been on this health journey for a long time. I’ve tried all the things. Swapped products. Changed diets. Started routines. Stopped routines. And for a while, I thought I was doing everything right.


But over time I realized something was missing. Something to bring it all together.

What I needed was more purpose. More clarity behind the things I was doing.

Not just trying a little bit of everything. I had to slow down, listen more closely to my body, and get focused on what was actually working for me.


And I learned…Just because things are good doesn’t mean they are good for you.


That meant doing the research, finding the right doctors, and getting serious about healing at the root. I wasn’t aiming to just fall within the normal ranges on a lab report. I wanted to feel my best and reach optimal levels wherever I could. And I still work hard at it every single day.


Everything in moderation is so important and being mindful of your intake matters.

Whether it is food, supplements, or even habits, I’ve learned to be mindful of how much, how often, and how it makes me feel.

Especially when it comes to supplements. Please don’t just take a bunch of things because someone online said it helped them. How do you even know if your body needs it? That kind of guesswork can do more harm than good. Get the right tests. Ask questions. Be informed.



Listening to My Body


Gut health was a big part of that for me. Honestly, that deserves its own post and a full conversation is coming soon. But I will say this. When your gut is off, everything is off. Your energy, your skin, your smell, your mood, your body, your focus. 🌿


Once I started focusing on healing from the inside, everything else started to realign.


And still, sometimes you can do all the right things and something unexpected happens.


My thyroid surgery reminded me of that. What happened to me could have been hereditary. It could have been triggered by something I’ll never fully know. But what I do know is that your body is always speaking to you. And if you slow down and listen, it will tell you what it needs.


Thankfully, I was already loving on and caring for myself. I had been feeding my body energetic whole foods, building habits that support real wellness, and educating myself so I could be my own advocate. That might have been a very different situation if I hadn’t already been doing that inner and outer work.

Why I Share What I Share


That’s why I share what I do.

Yoga. Mindful routines. 


All the things. ✨


But don’t get it twisted!! I still crave sweets sometimes and I absolutely enjoy a cocktail here and there. I’ve just found better ways to enjoy those things without throwing everything off. It’s not about being perfect. It’s about building a lifestyle that supports how you want to feel.


All with the hope that incorporating some of the simple things that have supported me might help you feel more cared for, more confident, and more in tune with yourself.
